This is a proclamation from YHWH about the authentification process of true prophets, who have been called into ministry by Him and in whose mouths He has put His words.

‘False messiahs and false prophets will appear and produce signs and wonders, to lead astray, if possible, the elect. But be alert; I have already told you everything.’ —Mark 13:22-23.

The true prophet’s lifestyle

Thus says YHWH:

‘This is the litmus test. If your prophet does not pass the test, then they are simply not a true prophet of God.

More than 95% of what the modern church calls prophets are not and have not been commissioned by Me. You just need to watch the arrogance, extravagance and deceit with which they operate to know that it is all smoke and mirrors.

Firstly, a true prophet may have a ministry but will not have a church. Prophets are not pastors or apostles—they are prophets. Being a pastor and leading a congregation requires time that a true prophet will not have because they will be too busy with their own duties.

It is one thing to receive prophecies as a pastor, apostle, evangelist, teacher, or even a simple disciple of Christ, which I can ask you to proclaim to the larger body of Christ, but this is different from occupying the office of a prophet.

My servant David Wilkerson is an example of a called apostle who operated in the Holy Spirit’s prophetic gift at a high level. He was a vessel I used to proclaim My prophetic word, but he did not occupy the office of a prophet. Occasionally prophesying is not the same as being a prophet.

The true prophet’s spiritual life is much more intense than that of the ordinary believer in Christ, and even other ministers, because of their amplified spiritual sight, which comes built into their souls from birth; for true prophets are assigned their office before birth.

True prophets do one thing that takes up a lot of their time: ministering to Me. True prophets are in constant, consistent and persistent communion with Me. Many of them, depending on the path I have set before them, cannot do anything else during the day. They will not have the time to have a normal full-time occupation outside their ministry. They are preoccupied with Me, My voice and My instruction 24/7. They cannot lead what most people consider “normal” lives; their reality is very different from other people’s.

True prophets will often spend extended seasons in the secret place, for weeks or months at a time. They will be in solitude, away from the world—even friends and family, to be downloading, receiving, and documenting what I tell them. To be in deep prayer, worship and discipleship.

True prophets will not have time to be doing reaction videos on social media, and I will ask them not to react to people who insult or offend them. I deal with their hearts and hurt in the secret place instead, lest they defile their prophetic oil with bitterness.

Study the lives of Old Testament prophets like Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Isaiah, and Elijah; read about the things I would ask them to do in their ministries. These men did not live ordinary lives at all.

Daniel described how he often lost all energy and ability to carry out his daily activities because of spiritual encounters. He had to force himself at some point to go back to attending to the king’s affairs. It is clear from his narrative that his lifestyle was organised in such a way that he had a lot of free time for his spiritual activities, despite the fact that he was a high official in the kingdom of Babylon.

Even in the New Testament, you hear about Anna, a prophet who never left the temple but worshipped there with fasting and prayer night and day. Or John, son of Zecheriah the priest, who lived in the wilderness until the time for his ministry came.’

The true prophet’s focus on the written word

Thus says YHWH:

‘True prophets receive prophecies, warnings, and explanations of mysteries from Me at an intense rate. Their prophecies are often decades, centuries or millennia ahead of their time. I will also require them to put it down in writing.

If your favourite “prophet” does not have a place where you can read prophecies I gave them for their specific appointed audience, then this is not someone I call My prophet. If not a platform available to the general public, then at least a place in their private archives where they rigorously document My words.

This principle is the reason why about two-thirds of Scripture are books written by prophets or about prophets. If My prophets did not rigorously document their prophecies and spiritual experiences, then the Bible would not exist.

Spiritually speaking, prophecies are recorded on scrolls; they are documented and kept in heavenly archives. Once I speak it to My prophet, the prophecy has been proclaimed, and I will perform it. Once My servant puts pen to paper to record the prophecy in writing on earth (whether the public knows about it or not), the heavenly scroll has an earthly counterpart. Both the earthly and the heavenly records are written testimonies—witnesses—of what I said.

Study the book of Revelation to see this principle in effect. In chapter 1, you see John being charged with writing all that he sees onto a scroll, some of which was to be sent to churches. In the later chapters, he has visions of heavenly scrolls of end times prophecy being opened.’

The true prophet’s specific mandate

Thus says YHWH Elohim:

‘To those prophets who shout “prophesy,” where is the prophetic word you have ever put in writing? I hear some of you speak to Moses and Abraham in your spiritual encounters, but don’t have any documentation of your conversations?

Actually, many of you brag about not needing to write anything down because of how “anointed” you are. Who taught you that? It surely was not Me, YHWH Elohim. What are you feeding My people? What did I tell you to publish or warn My people or the world of that comes from My mouth and not your deceit or scouring through the news channels and social media?

Do you know who your appointed audience is? By that I mean a real group of people you are sent to that is not a random audience who is willing to listen to your poison.

Elvira, I sent to True Israel with the message, “Your regathering and return to the land of the promise is at hand.” I sent her to the end times Church with the message, “The tribulation is here; make yourselves ready as pure virgin brides of Christ.”

Jonah, I had sent to a specific people, with a specific message. To Daniel, I gave specific visions and a specific message for a specific time. Isaiah was the same. John the Baptist had a specific message in his mouth for the coming of the Messiah.

Does your “prophet” have a specific message? And what is their audience? Who did I send them to? If you cannot identify these, then there is a high chance I never did.

If a person’s message is just “On fire for God”, that’s fine, but every true Christian is called to do that; they do not qualify as a prophet. What is their specific mandate? For whom? Did I prepare them for that? Do they spend time ministering to Me? Have you been able to read from them the words I put in their mouths?

Some are simply prophetic; they can receive warnings, truth and teachings from Me, but do not qualify as a true prophet. Others are flat-out false, Satan’s plants, who are leading you all who listen to them and defend and support them to hell!’

A call to vigilance

Thus says YHWH:

‘Open your eyes!

True prophets are not called to sit for hours and hours and say “prophesy”. This is foolishness. I do not send out My true prophets for such nonsense.

My true prophets will have a library of written prophecies about the future that they are tasked with releasing the way that many before them did, as recorded in My written word.

True prophets have something to announce, something specific and defined. They speak it and they are done! They will say what I told them, then sit back and watch all of it come to pass. They will reveal what I gave to them, then watch and let My truth take root in you.

The true prophet’s job is to be like a TV station, or a book publisher, or a radio player that releases what comes from My mouth. All the extra you have been deceived by is just that—deception.

Today’s so-called prophets are wizards, witches and sorcerers, 98% of them. I very cautiously select and very harshly train My prophets that they will not play around with My words, dishonour Me or exalt themselves above Me.

Let he who has ears to hear, hear!

True prophets are also always sent ahead of a major event or season to prepare My people for it, asking them to repent and move closer to Me, revealing to them what is to come so they can prepare accordingly. They have a clear commission for which they were set apart, and a clear message I put in their mouths to proclaim.

I, YHWH, speak things in advance so that you will know that I AM; that it was not a foreign god who performed it apart from Me. Prophets serve as trumpets to announce such things. They do not just behave like God-loving people, who say a whole lot of things but without any true commission and objective behind them, being devoid of substance and purpose for their ministry.

True prophets will be offensive, rejected and doubted, and they have been prepared by Me for all 3. Their prophecies are often unbelievable to their current audience, which is why they are mostly mocked.

There are prophecies here at the Fruit Factory that many of you will read, but not be alive to see come to pass; it does not make My servant a false prophet. That is just the nature of true prophecy.

You have to get out of popular culture Christianity and study My nature in the Bible; only so will you be able to recognise the true prophets sent to you in these end times. They are a gift to those who know and love Me and a curse to those who love the world and are reluctant to offer their lives as living sacrifices, picking up their crosses to follow Christ.

I, YHWH Elohim, have spoken. My word shall not return to Me void.’

‘Hear this, O house of Jacob, who are called by the name of Israel and who came forth from the loins of Judah, who swear by the name of the Lord and invoke the God of Israel but not in truth or right.

For they call themselves after the holy city and lean on the God of Israel; the Lord of hosts is his name. The former things I declared long ago; they went out from my mouth, and I made them known; then suddenly I did them, and they came to pass. Because I know that you are obstinate, and your neck is an iron sinew and your forehead brass, I declared them to you from long ago, before they came to pass I announced them to you, so that you would not say, “My idol did them; my carved image and my cast image commanded them.”

You have heard; now see all this; and will you not declare it? From this time forward I tell you new things, hidden things that you have not known. They are created now, not long ago; before today you have never heard of them, so that you could not say, “I already knew them.” You have never heard; you have never known; from of old your ear has not been opened. For I knew that you would act very treacherously and that from birth you were called a rebel.’ —Isaiah 48:1-8.

Update on 18 Feb 2026: An Important Remark

On 17 Feb 2026, YHWH instructed me to add a necessary remark to this proclamation, which is the requirement to test prophets and the spirits they use to prophesy.

In addition to everything mentioned by the Lord above, it is important to assess the person you are listening to, who claims to be a prophet (or any minister in the Body of Christ), not by carnal but by spiritual means. The purpose of a spiritual assessment is to test for FRUIT, which should enable one to answer the following question: ‘Which spirit is behind what I am listening to?’ For whatever is done in this physical realm comes from a spiritual source, and one must make sure that one is not allowing demonic spirits to speak into—and influence—one’s soul.

‘By contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against such things.’ —Galatians 5:22-23.

The fruits listed above are some of the first things one must be able to observe in a person who claims to speak on YHWH’s behalf. Even if one does not know the person intimately, many of these fruits will often be revealed by the person’s own mouth.

‘But what comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart, and this is what defiles. For out of the heart come evil intentions, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander.’ —Matthew 15:18-19.

Of course, we are all a work in progress in the Messiah’s hands, going through our journeys of sanctification by His grace, so no one is going to say the right thing all the time. The purpose of this remark is thus not to develop a spirit of self-righteousness and condemnation, which go against Yahshua’s nature. Yet, regardless of our relationship with someone, if the person consistently portrays fruits that go against what the Word tells us are fruits of YHWH’s Spirit, then it behoves each of us to judge the situation righteously and separate ourselves from their teaching, prophesying, friendship, company, or whatever our connection to that person is.

When it comes to the nature of end times prophecy, it tends to be quite stern because we are living in the hour of YHWH’s judgment. True prophets of YHWH today will usually have very unpleasant things to say, so proclaiming ‘doom and gloom’ prophecies does not make one a false prophet. On the other hand, if one is listening to a person who proclaims negative prophecies, it also does not mean they are a true prophet of YHWH. So the nuance comes in when one observes the fruit the prophet produces.

Delivering stern messages of judgment, exhortation and rebuke from the Lord as His prophet, teacher, pastor or whatever other calling He has given someone can be done without disparaging others. YHWH will give His utterance with every right to rebuke the evildoers He is speaking to, but it is not the messenger’s place to infuse the message with bitterness of heart and arrogance to try to give credence to their words or authority as a prophet. Indeed, the letters that Paul and the other apostles wrote to various churches, as recorded in the New Testament, are clear proof of that. When we read the books of the prophets in the Old Testament, we also observe a gentleness of spirit in those men which did not limit them in their ministry, but instead highlighted the evidence of their divine anointing; Prophet Jeremiah is a good case study for this. The Lord Yahshua’s own words of rebuke, as observed in the Gospels, are an even clearer illustration of this fact: righteous indignation should not be synonymous with being presumptuous and derogatory in speech and actions. The fruits of our Lord’s Spirit are evident; let’s all learn how to discern them by the Word and the Spirit.

If they are prophesying things that do not come to pass, then you clearly do not need to listen to them at all because this is the very first sign of a false prophet.

However, if the person’s prophecies tend to come to pass, they may still not be true because of the practice called divination. I am using the term ‘tend’ here because false prophets will always have prophecies that fail to come to pass; it is always only a matter of time before YHWH exposes them.

Divination uses demonic spirits to access information about the future; it can be quite accurate, especially if used by someone who has been adorned by natural spiritual gifts, because the Word of YHWH tells us that His gifts and calling are irrevocable (Rom 11:29). This means that if the Lord gave someone eyes that are spiritually open and able to see into the future naturally, then the person could decide to use that gift in the kingdom of darkness and the Lord would not take it back or make their visions cease. Yet, since they are not operating by God’s Spirit, the content of what they are telling you will be spiritual poison, leading you to death.

When the Lord Yahshua said ‘you will know them by their fruit’ He was warning us that there exist a lot of people who know how to deceive through a disguise of righteousness, powerful spiritual gifts, and the performances of miracles, signs and wonders, but who do not belong to Him.

‘“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thorns or figs from thistles? In the same way, every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will know them by their fruits.’ —Matthew 7:15-19.

For example, suppose that everything a person speaking to you seems to come to pass, but you can observe that the person constantly contradicts him or herself in narratives (whether directly related to their prophecies or not): that is a sign that they are liars. If they are constantly speaking highly of themselves, reminding you of how good and powerful a prophet they are, and comparing themselves to other prophets they perceive as lower than them, then the bad fruit of pride (that is, arrogance, conceit) has made itself evident through their own mouths. If they ask you to be critical of other prophets and servants in the Body of Christ in ways that they do not want themselves to be criticised, they are hypocrites. If they tend to belittle, threaten, or verbally abuse people with insults and other foul speech, then their lack of love, kindness, and self-control is evident. If the person is telling you that testing their prophecies and character for truth and fruit will cause you to be judged by YHWH, or is the reason you are going through trials in your life, then the fruit of emotional manipulation and coercion (which is witchcraft) has shown itself.

False prophets sometimes begin on Christ’s side, but turn to the kingdom of darkness down the line. One must look out to swiftly separate from them because they have disqualified themselves from the race, and are not allowed to speak on Christ’s behalf. Their shift of allegiance will often (but not always) be evident in the changes in their demeanour and contents of speech.

‘Do you not know that in a race the runners all compete, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win it. Athletes exercise self-control in all things; they do it to receive a perishable crown, but we an imperishable one. So I do not run aimlessly, nor do I box as though beating the air, but I punish my body and enslave it, so that after proclaiming to others I myself should not be disqualified.’ —1 Corinthians 9:24-27.

Let the prophets’ fruits speak louder than their prophecies, because no matter how accurate the prophecies seem to be, if they are not of Christ, then they are poisoning your soul and opening doors for your life to be manipulated and afflicted by the kingdom of darkness.

If one only has a bit of patience and is careful to take note of what comes out of the mouth of whoever is claiming to be speaking on Elohim’s behalf, the fruits of the spirit behind what is said will often make themselves evident. This advice implies that one should exercise caution and seek wisdom that is from above in their discernment; this tends to be a difficult task in the ‘I want everything right now’ generation we live in today, but it is an absolute necessity.

In addition to everything cited above, the most necessary step to discern things by the Spirit and not the flesh is through prayer. Ask the Lord to show you the person’s true nature and give yourself time to observe His response; do not get carried away, but wait patiently for Him. For even if the person one is testing ticks every box cited above, they may still be false. How? Because that is the nature of the extremely deceitful times we are living in today.

The Word of YHWH tells us that ‘the coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish’ (2 Thess 2:9-10). The words ‘ALL POWER’ mean that Satan has been given unprecedented means to prosper in his cunning in these times.

It is for this reason that the Lord Yahshua told His disciples, ‘Not everyone who says to me, “Lord, Lord,” will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven. On that day many will say to Me, “Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and cast out demons in Your name, and do many mighty works in Your name?” Then I will declare to them, “I never knew you; go away from me, you who behave lawlessly.”‘ (Matt 7:21-23).

In the end, please let’s all remember that one may follow all the rules of testing fruit and spirit, but find out that they had been listening to the wrong people. There is deceit everywhere in our world, and no matter how anointed one may be, no one but Elohim Himself is all-knowing. Therefore, it is paramount that all of us maintain humble spirits that are willing to recognise when we realise by the Spirit that we, too, have been (or are being) deceived, and repent by pivoting away from that situation or person accordingly. Sometimes it takes a while to wake up to the truth, but it is never too late to repent and choose light over darkness. This is how we grow in Christ and sharpen our spiritual senses.

They are so many among us, those ones who prophesy in His name, and cast out demons in His name, and do many mighty works in His name, yet do not operate by His Spirit, nor do His Father’s will; those people are the most dangerous of all, whom we must all must guard our hearts and souls from, lest they cause us to love lies, stray away from the narrow path, stumble, and fall.

‘Yahshua’ is simply Jesus’ name in Hebrew. Scholars have argued for various spellings and pronunciations, but we prefer to stick with ‘Yahshua’ as meaning, ‘Yah/YHWH saves.’ He is the Messiah, the Christ. He is our King and the Foundation of this ministry. We call Him ‘Lord’ and ‘Saviour.’
