The Broken Mirror

I had a vision of a woman sitting in front of a mirror. This was a round portable beauty mirror, the kind that you can move around in different positions and angles on a table with metal or wooden legs.

I was watching this scene as if my eyes were a hidden camera behind the woman, at an angle where I saw her face from inside the mirror in front of her. So I saw her full back, the table, the mirror on top of the table, and her face from within the reflection in the mirror.

As she sat there in front of it, I saw a force suddenly come from behind the mirror and hit it hard, creating a projectile of pieces that were ejected in all directions, including the woman’s face. She bent her head sideways in a reflex, covering her face with her elbow and the picture froze.

In this frozen picture, I heard the Lord say: “The mirror is what allows you to see yourself for who you are. It is what puts the sin, the lust, the pride and all the rebellion inside you in your face. If there is no mirror, there is no accountability. If there is no mirror, there is no honesty. If there is no mirror, there is no truth.”

Then I saw this woman in front of the same mirror again in the same way as earlier, a back view with her face visible to me from the reflection in the mirror. This time, there were sharp cuts on her face with blood dripping from them.

I received the understanding in my spirit that these were from the pieces of mirror that had splashed in her face whilst the first mirror broke. Her face was cut in a dozen places that were bleeding.

In front of this new mirror, the woman stared at her face with the cuts. She did not wipe the blood away, nor try to clean herself. She just stared.

Then the same force that had splashed the mirror in the first scene came and hit it again. The same projectiles of mirror pieces were ejected in all directions and this time, she did not take cover and allowed all the pieces of broken mirror to cut her.

Since I was watching her from the reflection in the mirror that was now broken, I could not see what her face looked like afterwards, but I am sure you can imagine. The picture froze here.

In this frozen picture, I heard the Lord say:

“Because people will become lovers of themselves, they will be allergic to looking in the mirror for the truth.

Forces, Satan, will shatter the mirror so that each can live and walk according to what they think they look like, not what they actually look like, who they actually are.

If you dare put up a mirror in their face they will kill you for it, and as soon as you do, the dark force will come and splash it once more so that they can continue to walk about with cut-up faces, destroyed images and be oblivious to it.

They themselves do not want to clean the cuts and heal the wounds. They have appropriated those cuts and called them their personalities, how they were born and everyone should just accept them for who they are.

Why? Because there is no mirror.

Satan is splashing millions of mirrors all around the world and what your world will turn into will be irrecognisable, the same way that this woman is irrecognisable from all the cuts she got from the mirror.

Yes, because splashing the mirror does not only make one ignorant and oblivious to the truth, but it also cuts them, disfigures them, and transforms their image into one of Satan, the very force behind the shattering.

In this manner will society disintegrate. Offence will reach heights you have never seen before. Pride will surpass levels you have witnessed and people’s love for their disfigurement and devilish image will please them.

They will defend it more and more until eventually, they will pass laws that will make the woman who once sat in front of that mirror without a blemish on her face, a criminal, and the last woman who received the full blow of the mirror cuts and engravements in her skin, the norm.

I am talking of a time when everything that is righteous will be a crime.

You being a straight woman or a straight man who desires to marry, have a family and raise your children in sanity, will be an anomaly.

Being straight will be an anomaly.

Giving to the poor or just to your fellow man will become an anomaly.

Having compassion for another person will become an anomaly.

Speaking to people about their faults to try to help them get better will put you in jail.

Respecting parents will be an anomaly.

Telling the truth will be an anomaly.

Not gossiping or following gossip will be an anomaly.

Not desiring sex with animals and other non-human creatures will be an anomaly.

For those who dare marry, not openly cheating on your spouse or having “swing” parties will be an anomaly.

Believing in and speaking about Jesus Christ will be a crime.

I am speaking to you of a world where evil is literally good and good is literally evil, to the point of being outlawed.

You will literally be walking in the shadow of death every day, 24/7.

You will live in complete, utter, chaos.

But the one who puts their trust in Me will be saved.”

After the Lord said this, I saw the same image of the table and the mirror but this time, it was me who was sat in place of the woman from earlier.

As I looked at myself in that mirror, I sensed spiritually that the same force that had splashed the woman’s mirror was about to come and splash mine. I quickly seized the mirror from the table, WOOSHH! And I began to RUN!

The invisible force transformed into a giant pile of black moving stones. Imagine large pieces of rocks or stones glued together and able to move together in the way that the wheels of a war tank move, rolling on themselves. Like that! But it was about 15 metres tall. Giant.

I was sprinting with every fibre of my being and this thing was pursuing me and destroying everything on its way.

As this was happening, the Lord shouted: “Hold onto your mirror, My daughter! Hold onto your mirror and RUN!”.

Then the street that I was running in transformed into a dark valley that looked, felt, and smelled like death.

The Lord said: “Keep running. Run and hold onto the mirror. Run and do not be afraid, for I am with you.”

As the Lord said this, the mirror that I had firmly clasped under my armpit and was holding onto with both hands gradually morphed into a Bible!

Now it was not the mirror I was holding any longer, but what the mirror had been representing all along: the Living word of God. The truth that made all things and without which nothing was made that was made. The Refiner’s fire. The hammer that breaks a rock into pieces. The sharp double-edged sword capable of bringing to its knees even the mightiest warrior, and of taking out of darkness even the filthiest sinner.

The mirror is the Master and King, Jesus Christ.

As I ran away into the dark valley holding onto my Bible and being chased by this monster, I began to recite Psalm 23, “The Lord is my Shepherd. I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures.”

The Lord had not stopped talking so we were speaking simultaneously now.

The Lord was saying: “Hold onto The Mirror, My daughter. Hold onto the Mirror. Do not let go of it. Hold and hold. Do not let it fall. Do not soften your grip on My word. Hold and hold and hold. Hold and run! Hold and run! Run, My daughter. Hold and run. Resist and hold onto it. Run and flee from the monster!”

I began to run faster and speak louder. At this point I was basically shouting and reciting, “Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”

Then I saw a door appear a few metres away from me. The door was open and on the other side of it was light. A bright white pure light.

As soon as I saw it, I put every last bit of energy left in me to sprint towards it as fast as I could until I finally jumped through the door and it closed after me.

The monster stopped, seeing that I had disappeared.

This is where I opened my eyes. It was intense.

Scripture

James 1:23-27

“²³ For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror;

²⁴ for he observes himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was.

²⁵ But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.

²⁶ If anyone among you thinks he is religious, and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his own heart, this one’s religion is useless.

²⁷ Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.”

You have heard the word of the Lord.

Did you notice that the woman tried to protect her face the first time the mirror was smashed but didn’t even bother the second time? The Lord is exposing here how hardness of heart is developed.

This is how people who were once Christians fall into apostasy and eventually the reprobate mind. This is how sinners harden themselves in their sin. This is how doctrines of devils form rocky and stony soil in the hearts of believers, and before they know it, they are completely cut up and disfigured.

It is all done by complacency with the disregard, and destruction, of the truth.

Do not be like the woman, staring at Satan smash the mirror in your face. Rather, ‘Hold onto the mirror. Do not let go of it. Hold and hold and hold. Do not soften your grip on His word’.

‘Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!’ – Isaiah 5:20.

He who has ears, let him hear.
