This is the second journal entry in the prayer manual titled “Divorcing Darkness”.

Part II – The Fear Of God Is Your Only Chance

It would not be of long-term help to you if I just sit at this desk and start pounding out prayer lines, telling you to wake up at 3 am and pray them with fasting, without making you understand the precepts behind them. We discussed precepts in depth in Proclamation #4, which is a necessary read if you have not already.

Unless you understand the “why” behind what you are doing in your spiritual habits and exercises, they will both not last and bear no potent fruit.

Unless you divorce darkness completely and walk in Christ’s light, what is coming from 2030 moving forward as we crash into the end times events, will kill you. You will be ravaged and you will die. Whether you beleive in these words of prophecy or “think so” right now or not is irrelevant.

This is a matter of life and death, your survival and that of your family and community. It is a matter of your eternal soul. This is not a game. Do not take it lightly, I certainly don’t.

Section I – The fear of God

1- We spoke about the priority of repentance in the first entry of this prayer manual, ‘The True Gospel Revived’. To divorce darkness once and for all, you must repent and live a repentant life. Today, we will discuss the second element that is fundamental to life in the Kingdom: The fear of God.

2- The nature of the fear of God is such that there can be neither a true relationship with God nor true repentance unless there is the fear of God.

3- Many of us are eager to desire Yah’s blessings, His favour, to be free from the afflictions of darkness, and to live under His light and all the goodness that comes with it but have rejected His wisdom because we do not fear, respect, and honour Him as we should.

4- This is the very meaning of rebellion and wickedness, my friends.

5- Like we often do concerning our heavenly Father, we keep acting out of ignorance of the truth. We are unaware of the lack of fear of the Lord in our lives and how we reject His wisdom, supported and encouraged by the systems of the world.

6- Many of us have created a machine in our hearts that generates excuses for each wicked act we knowingly or unknowingly commit so that we can live comfortably with our rebellion.

7- After you read this entry completely, my hope is that the lies we have been told – and have told ourselves – will be exposed and we will not be able to continue to live in ways that keep us vulnerable and open to the seductions, temptations, and manipulations of the kingdom of darkness.

8- Some have just turned to Christ and are new believers. You think that because you have been rescued from captivity by our mighty Lord Jesus, you must only try to be what the world considers a “good” person and your life will be okay moving forward, but if you live with this mindset, it will not.

9- What the world considers good is not what the word of God considers good, actually, in today’s culture, they often go in opposite directions. What you need is to develop an unshaken fear of the Lord to guard and guide your walk with Jesus into longevity and fruitfulness.

‘Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.’ – Philippians 2:12-13.

Section II – Trapped by wickedness

10- Some will claim that they have been believers in Christ for decades, but they are married to the world and think that going to church on Sunday, singing some worship songs and receiving daily notifications of bible verses on their phones means something in God’s sight. You have failed to understand that you cannot call yourself a child of God and act in the ways of the world. You do not fear God. This is what the Lord calls wickedness.

’21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ – Matthew 7:21-23.

11- In church culture, the verses above are thrown around quite a bit, aren’t they? But we have failed to understand their complete meaning.

12- One does not need to be a witch, occultist, sorcerer, or convicted felon to practice lawlessness. Anyone who believes in God but operates outside of His will, purposes and instructions for their lives qualifies as such.

13- You are abusing His grace and blessings and grieving to the Holy Spirit [who cannot stand your complacency, carelessness and pride]. This is what the Lord calls wickedness.

14- The Lord is talking about the people inside the church who were chosen and granted great gifts and responsibilities with those gifts but failed to prove trustworthy. You do not fear God. This is what the Lord calls wickedness.

15- The Lord is also speaking to the shepherds who use their God-given gifts and talents to selfish ends, and not to accomplish God’s will. They have stopped being bearers of His truth and have become complacent with the things of the world within the church.

16- They have tamed and corrupted the truth for the sake of what they think is best for their church whilst diluting His standards to please the masses and be able to boast of the reach of their anointing and influence around the world. This is what the Lord calls wickedness.

17- He is also speaking to the believers calling themselves Christians but live in sin, excuse it, and even defend it. You do not fear God. Stop using God’s name in vain, dear. This is what the Lord calls wickedness.

18- If you, Christian, do not rebuke sin, then who will? Is it the LGBTQ+XYZ who will be the ones to call out sin for what it is? Why do you use Jesus Christ’s name in vain calling yourself a CHRISTian? You are an evildoer, it is of you that Jesus is speaking in this Scripture.

19- How can you feast at the table of those who sacrifice to idols of lust, greed, pride and the telling of lies, and call it “tolerance”? In fact, you even cover for their lies. Did the Bible tell you to tolerate things that defile you and grieve God? You do not fear God. This is what the Lord calls wickedness.

20- You are calling yourself a Christian but cannot even rebuke those who are supposed to be your best friends, husbands, wives, and family members who walk in complete perdition, and you call it “love”. What love? This is not the love of God. It can’t be because (1) God disciplines those He loves, and (2) true love corrects, rebukes and brings the loved one to the path that leads to life. Who are you? Stop using God’s name in vain, dear. You do not fear God. You are lawless. This is what the Lord calls wickedness.

21- How dare you support those who blatantly disrespect the God you claim to serve when we have been called to be separate and come out from among them in these end times? You call their corrupt choices and sinful lifestyles “preferences”. Does Jesus have any “preferences” for sin? You do not fear God. This is what the Lord calls wickedness.

22- Those of you who love politics more than you love God. You hope in Donald Trump more than you hope in God for your nation. You take bribes to vote for a certain leader and champion their political agendas [Africa I am talking to you], you get blinded by checks and short-term privileges to support a certain ideology that goes against God’s word [all of the world I am talking to you], you overlook the abuse of power and criminal behaviour within and outside the church [sycophants I am talking to you]. You do not fear God. This is what the Lord calls wickedness.

23- Those of you who gossip about everything and everyone and call it “catching up”. You spew venom on God’s chosen prophets in rushing to make reaction videos, posts and articles, then call it “testing the spirit”. It is this kind of behaviour that is the clearest indication, by its fruit, of false Christianity, and/or spiritual immaturity, and/or plain foolishness. You are lawless. You are an evildoer. You do not fear God. This is what the Lord calls wickedness.

24- Those of you who want to look like your false pastors and mimic your false prophets, who look up to celebrities and spend more time following the latest news about them and your politics than you do reading the word of God. You do not fear God. This is what the Lord calls wickedness.

25- He is speaking to the Catholics, yes, I will say it again because Catholicism is flat-out demonic.

26- How can you have a rosary that worships Mary about 40 times more than it does the Christ and you call yourself a Christian?

27- How can you confess your sins to a human being who cannot even keep themselves from sinning for 24 hours straight, yet there is a perfect Messiah who died for your sins and was crowned as High Priest, the only One qualified to forgive sins?

28- How dare you pray to an angel to ask them to intercede or help you when there is God who made the angel?

29- How dare you deliberately and shamelessly alter the 10 commandments of God so that you can freely bow to lifeless objects made by human hands? ‘And the rest of it he makes into a god, His carved image. He falls down before it and worships it, Prays to it and says, “Deliver me, for you are my god!”’ – Isaiah 44:17.

30- How dare you pray to a so-called saint, yet human being like you and I in all our glorious fallen and sinful nature, for intercession when you have a perfect Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ, sat on the right hand of the Father whom the Bible tells us is there to intercede for us?

31- You are wicked. You are an evildoer. You are lawless. It is to you that the Lord Jesus Christ is speaking in this Scripture. This is what the Lord calls wickedness, and He will spit you out.

For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.’ – Galatians 5:17-23.

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.’ – Romans 1: 28-31.

Section III – The wicked heart

32- We, human beings, are born with what the Bible calls “desperately wicked” hearts [Jeremiah 17:9].

33- Human beings do not grow nor change in comfort because of our innate rebellious nature. That innate rebellion needs a heavy enough challenge to be punched off its pedestal in our hearts. This is where the Refiner’s fire [by God’s own hand] comes in with the +1000° heat to burn that wickedness off and make way for purity.

34- Therefore, the purification of the heart can only be achieved by persecution and suffering. There is no way around it. You must allow God to use the difficult circumstances of your life as a tool to purify your heart. That will be the role of what God will allow to befall us from 2030 onwards, and now is the time to get ready for it.

35- One who has the fear of the Lord paired with a pure heart is the most lethal weapon to the kingdom of darkness. If you want to divorce darkness, you need these two elements and there is no purity of heart, nor repentance, nor maturity in faith, nor true relationship with God without the fear of the Lord.

36- A switch must happen in your spirit and mind where you stop running away from trials and tests and start welcoming them. This can only happen when you understand and truly believe that growth by the baptism with [the Refiner’s] fire is necessary and works for your own good. Apostle Paul had understood this when he said the following:

‘Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.’ – Romans 5:3-5.

37- It is time to get to know God’s ways and go beyond your Sunday, Christmas and Easter Christianity.

38- It is in the valley of the trial that one gets to know God’s true nature. Therefore, as you grow through your trials and tribulations you are also increasing your fear and love of Yah.

39- God does not show Himself just anyhow and to anyone, no. He shows Himself when there is a humble spirit and a contrite heart that is earnestly seeking Him.

40- Humility and contriteness are at their peak during seasons of pruning and suffering. It is by that pruning that we can rid ourselves of wickedness and come into purity of heart to produce richer and more robust fruit. It is a journey of a lifetime, until the very moment of the Lord’s return.

‘I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.’ – John 15: 1-2.

Section IV – Maturity in character and spirit

41- To anyone reading this who is a son or daughter of God: stop being emotionally agitated and preoccupied with being liked. Spoiler alert: we are in the end times which means extreme blasphemy, mocking, scoffing, and hatred for Jesus Christ and His followers. Espitle #2 speaks about that in greater detail.

42- You will never bear fruit if you care about optics and want to uphold a certain reputation, not in this generation. Your life is now in the hands of the One True Living God, and no one else’s. What you stand for now goes against what the world stands for, so you will never be able to please them. It is if you succeed in pleasing them that you should be worried about your positioning with Christ because conforming to the world is one of the brightest red flags in this Kingdom.

43- You must learn that the place where the Lord’s glory is truly felt and recognised according to Him, and where He looks to judge us with either promotion or demotion, blessings or wrath, is in the secret place, in what is going on in our hearts and all their motives. We don’t have a “name” to defend but only the Kingdom of God to serve.

44- From today moving forward, it is not the world’s systems, your boss, the public, your family or friends, your customer base or whatever else you have been taught who decides if you will achieve what the world considers “success”. You live for an audience of One: Jesus Christ.

45- We gave up any right to have a name when we answered Christ’s call and chose to consecrate ourselves and be sanctified for His Glory and to do His work. When we overcome the tribulation, we will receive His new name as we enter into His eternal rest.

He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.’ – Revelation 3: 2-3.

46- We are ambassadors of Christ now and it is His name that we stand and live for. For honouring that name, the Lord clearly said that the world would hate us because they hated Him first.

If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.’ – John 15: 18-19.

47- Being able to live this way is what the Bible calls being meek and gentle. It is what the Bible calls “turning the other cheek”. Learning to not be offended by things, by words, by actions. Learning to control the tongue and keeping our emotions under lock. Learning to turn to the prayer altar to heal from trauma instead of lashing out or drowning in mental and emotional misery, spiritual death, and bondage to sin.

48- As we become more meek and gentle in our spirits, we are becoming more and more like Christ and are drawn closer to Him. This is what maturity in character and spirit means.

‘We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.’ – 2 Corinthians 4:8-10.

Section V – The fear of God is your only chance

49- God is looking for people who fear and honour Him. In fact, His eyes are on them. As He sits on His throne and watches our actions, thoughts, and hearts, He eagerly looks for people He can freely use to fulfil His Will on earth and bless with no restraint, because He knows He can trust them.

50- It is these people who will endure till the end. It is these people who will be preserved in times of wrath. It is them who will make it out of darkness, into His light.

‘But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear Him, on those whose hope is in His unfailing love, to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine.’ – Psalms 33:18-19.

51- To fear God steadily and consistently without backsliding [especially in these very difficult times of persecution],  you will need what the Bible calls “The Spirit of the fear of the Lord”. It is one of the 7 Spirits of God that had been prophesied by Isaiah that would rest on the Messiah, our Lord Jesus Christ.

1There shall come forth a Rod from the stem of Jesse,
And a Branch shall grow out of his roots.

2 The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him,
The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
The Spirit of counsel and might,
The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.

His delight is in the fear of the Lord,
And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes,
Nor decide by the hearing of His ears;

4 But with righteousness He shall judge the poor,
And decide with equity for the meek of the earth;
He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth,
And with the breath of His lips He shall slay the wicked.

5 Righteousness shall be the belt of His loins,
And faithfulness the belt of His waist.’ – Isaiah 44: 1-5.

This is again spoken about in the end times Revelation [which is applicable to our times].

‘And to the angel of the church in Sardis write,
‘These things says He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars: “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead”.’ – Revelation 3:1.

52- By our covenant with Jesus Christ and accepting Him as our Lord and Saviour, we have become co-heirs of salvation with Him, and therefore, share in the graces the Father gave Him. So this is a Spirit we can receive and have active in our lives, just like it was in Jesus’ life.

53- In the same way we receive the Spirit of the Lord, the Spirit of knowledge, might, understanding, counsel, or wisdom, we can also receive the Spirit of the fear of the Lord. This is what you need to even begin to have a chance to stay alive and endure these end times. All the other Spirits and gifts hang on it. Without the fear of the Lord, there is no tomorrow for you, simple.

54- For example: How are you going to be able to walk with divine knowledge, understanding and wisdom, which are 3 core things that will keep you alive and give you the ability to navigate the Beast and his satanic kingdom, if you do not fear God? I am not the one who said it, but the Lord Himself in His word did:

‘The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.’ – Proverbs 9:10.

55- From this Scripture, there is no true wisdom without fear of the Lord, and no understanding without the knowledge of God. We discussed in Section III that you cannot truly know God unless you fear Him. So it all comes down to: the fear of the Lord.

56- Without the fear of the Lord you are living and walking in utter foolishness. You are dangling yourself before the Beast’s mouth to be devoured for free without him having to put up a fight, let alone having to actively hunt for you like prey. You are as delivered to him on a silver platter. Again, I am not the one who said it, but the Lord Himself in His word did:

‘For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their own craftiness”;’ – 1 Corinthians 3:19.

57- The fear of a Lord is a Spirit, One you can ask for and receive by the Holy Spirit. In a dream, God asked Solomon what he wanted and Solomon asked for wisdom and received it. Wisdom is also one of the 7 Spirits of God as we read in Isaiah 44 above. So you can and must petition your heavenly Father for the Spirit of the fear of the Lord.

58- True holiness and sanctification which lead to preservation from God’s wrath, start with the fear of the Lord. Even the act of true repentace goes through conviction of the heart and you cannot be convicted of sin against God if you do not respect God nor fear Him and His word, which takes us back to: the fear of the Lord.

59- Again, this is your only chance of survival in these end times. Hence why this second journal entry is titled “The fear of God is your only chance”.

60- These are God’s ways, and they do not change. ‘For I am the Lord, I do not change‘ [Malachi 3:6a].

Section VI – Petition For The Spirit of the Fear of the Lord

61- The following prayer should be prayed daily and consistently until you see things change in your heart, spirit, mind, and environment, until you start seeing fruit.

62- Some of the fruits you can observe appear in your life when you have the fear of the Lord are:

(a) You will start to feel repulsed by sin.

(b) You will start to feel strongly convicted of your sinful actions and find yourself unable to carry on with certain habits, relationships and beliefs that God hates. You may even be so convicted that you will quit your job or close your business if it is one where you must lie daily, promote lust, greed, gluttony, alcohol, drugs for money, or any such things.

(c) You will start struggling to watch the sexual, violent or otherwise defiled media you used to watch. The secular songs you once listened to will begin to give you headaches. Indecent clothes will stop being appealing to you. Exposing skin will stop looking good to you. You will start to wonder why people can’t dress properly today. If you are a married man, those mini dresses and plunging necklines your wife usually wears to go out will start rubbing you the wrong way. Your taste will change.

(d) You will start to be able to detect sin from a mile away. You will be able to look at someone and know what is hidden in their heart, the things they do in secret. You will wonder why society is going mad. You will find that a lot of things are foolish in reasoning yet praised by most of the media you used to watch. Sin will irk you.

(e) One of the biggest ones is that people will start to desert you. Relationships that are not grounded in God will crumble and ultimately fall, even family and friends will not understand you and will stop inviting you to events as much as they used to. You will start to be considered too radical and extreme in your beliefs, too “fundamentalist”, they will say. You will stop desiring to give your points of view because you will know people won’t get it and it may result in an argument at the end of which they still won’t get it. There will be a shift. There must be.

63- The list is non-exhaustive but these are some of the most immediate things one will observe change as they increase in fear of God. It could be summaried in one statement: You will observe a clear separation between you and things or people that are not in God and of God, those who do not fear Him. Many of them will be offended if you tell them the truth, that they are not of God [especially those who consider themselves Christians], but that’s just the world we live in now and it will only get worse moving forward.

64- This is because the fear of God takes us out of sin and love of sin and into a repentant life. A repentant life is spiritual cleansing and deliverance by the blood of Jesus Christ such that ‘we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are an aroma that brings death; to the other, an aroma that brings life. And who is equal to such a task?’ – 2 Corinthians 2:15-16.

65- For the prayers below, please pray them in a calm place and a specific time that you have set aside for prayer. Also, feel free repeat the different statements as much as you feel led by the Holy Spirit to.

‘Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.’ – Matthew 7:7-8.

Heavenly Father, You who sits above the circle of the earth and weighs the mountains in a balance, I humbly come before you in my office as a co-heir with Christ, as your son/daughter, and as a citizen of your Kingdom.

My Lord, You who measure the waters in the hollow of Your hand and mark off the heavens with a span, I ask for an audience with You today to put in a petition to the righteous Judge You are.

I repent of our sins, transgressions, idolatry, pride, bitterness, and rebellion, for me and my bloodline and ask that the Blood of Jesus cleanse us of our iniquity.

I ask the Holy Spirit to revive my spirit and restore my spotless garment of truth so that I and my bloodline may walk in the fear of the Lord from today and for generations to come.

I pray in the name of Jesus Christ that You, Father, may put your Spirit of the Fear of the Lord in me.

Lord God, I pray that in Your grace, You may clothe me in the Spirit of the fear of the Lord now, in the name of Jesus.

My Lord, I want to fulfil Your will for my life and be lifted in Your glory. Please dress me in the fear of the Lord, and may this fear guard and guide me in my walk with You.

I declare that through the fear of the Lord, I will not overlook Your word, will and purposes for my life any longer.

I declare that through the fear of the Lord, I will not allow myself to lose the respect and reverence that belong to You and You only any longer.

I declare that through the fear of the Lord, my atmosphere is filled with the atmosphere of heaven right now.

I declare that through the fear of the Lord, my heart is filled with pure truth and light, who is Christ Jesus, my King.

Father, search my heart and refine my soul so I may be sanctified and purified to draw closer to You.

I declare that the fear of the Lord is my fortress and His love is my hope.

I welcome every part of you, Holy Spirit, and commit to a life of holiness that will bear good fruit for the Kingdom of my Lord Jesus Christ.

Lord God, You are a God who protects His flock like a shepherd and gathers the lambs in His arms, carrying them in Your bosom. I am your lamb, Lord, please carry me now in your bosom.

It is in the name of Jesus Christ that I prayed, amen.

In closing

I will leave you with this Scripture:

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:6-7
